Hole tank view of this 530 liters Dutch-style setup. I was trying to make a setup with the plant groups giving a nice contrast to eachother. And with a impression of depth.

The Blue diamond discus swimming slowly over the lawn of Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown" I was really pleased with the wendtii growing not to tall, and it matched perfect as a forground plant.

Close up of the Marlboro red discus. The light green plant in the photo is a Hygrophila corymbosa "compact" grown by Tropica.

Close-up of the center of the tank. Notice that the SAE`S on the photo is close to 12 cm in length. Gives you an idea how large the discus really is. All the discus are approx. 1 year. The diet of the discus`s contains home made beef heart, artemia, discus sticks, red and black mosquito worms.

Close-up of a group of Didiplis diandra.

Additional
Information
Aquascaped after The Dutch style. Large plant groups are being put together and which gives nice contrast to eachother. The set-up is suppose to give an impression of depth. A nice line should go from the front and up to the back. For Liquid fertilizer i use Tropicas Mastergrow and Ferrogan iron in the clay.

"This aquascape, in Dutch style, shows very nice contrasts to the other plant groups. Worth mentioning are the very nice contrasts of leaf forms and colours. " ---Kaspar Horst

"I really like the broad swaths of color, and big groups of plants used in this tank. The groupings have been carefully arranged in height to create a lovely upward sweep to the aquascape. I find the color of the orange discus to be a bit jarring against the beautiful blue of the other fish and the lovely red plants, but he is obviously in robust health, like everything else in the tank. I am making the assumption that the slight haze in some of these images is an artifact of the photographic process, (which looks quite pixelated in some images) and not haziness in the water." ---Karen Randall

"Very impressive tank! It is very difficult to make good growth in so many different plants and in the same time maintain cuttings to a so nice harmonic composition! Well done!" ---Claus Christensen
