Third Place

This aquascape should be in the leading group of this contest. Very wide varation of plant arrangements. But the right part of this scape is not a consequent continuation of the very good formation and work from the left side.

I really, really like this tank. The flow of the layout is lovely, and the use of color is beautiful! If I were going to find fault, it is that the foreground planting is not quite as strong as the rest of the layout, but this is being really picky!

Eheim 2215 canister.
Additional Information
100 watt Rena heating cable. Water column fertilisation by Aqualine Buschke Ferreal. DIY CO2: 3 x 2 litre bottles, going in canister filter's intake.

Substrate: 3,5 lbs First layer pure laterite and 10 lbs Sera Floredepot topped with 6 cm of 3mm clean gravel. 3 long driftwoods "descending" from the back corners, left side covered with Microsorum pteropus and Vesicularia dybuana, right side covered with Anubias nana. A group of small pebbles in the front right corner.
