This aquascape fascinates in a way; here modern aquarium style was performed in a very small aquarium

Daily fertilization with a custom PMDD mix. Substrate Gold in lower one third of susbtrate. Low pressure CO2 system. This tank ran on DIY yeast CO2 for most of its life. This tank was originally inspired from a tank from Amano's Nature Aquarium World Book 1. I wanted to use some Riccia and new the it would pearl under the bright light. I wanted to keep the aquascape as open as possible, since the tank is fairly small, but I also wanted to create a dense forest look to it as well.
Riccia, Glossostigma elantinoides, Rotala macandra, Rotala indica, Heteranthera zosterifolia, Micranthemum micranthemoides, Micranthemum umbrosum, Rotala wallichii, Eichhornia diversifolia.
Fancy Guppies, Amano shrimp.
3 rocks used to anchor the Riccia down with some garden netting used to keep out birds. Approximately 2 inches of Red Flint medium gravel.
