Awards and Judge Comments

The riccia bubbles are the dominant visual in this aquascape, which I don't think is ideal. A few stems of a red plant added to the background might add interest. The water appears to be cloudy, but that could be from too many bubbles.

I know the boring whites of riccia too well which make fish look rather pale. Take away a great deal of it and plant E. tenellus instead if you wish. Add some H.micranthemoides just about where there is a clump of riccia to the right.

I really wanted some close-up pics to see more details. The colors seem pale, but I can't tell if that's the plants, the lighting, or the photo. I really like the driftwood and Bolbitis heudelotti.
