The aquascape is well-composed but I think the presentation would be better if the stem plants were trimmed a little shorter. Mayaca is naturally very-light colored. A darker colored plant might work better in that spot.

Vigorous growth and healthy tank. Impression too
firm and out of balance. Add some plants left to Mayaca which grow 2/3 of tank hight. Otherwise
very well done!

Very artisitic composition. The glosso field and Riccia rocks look great together. The splash of red is nice but I wish I could see a little more of it.

Lighting 55 watt CF and 15 watt NO, 10 hours per day
Filtration Fluval 204 with ceramic rings and poly filter floss.
Plants Mayaca fluviatilis, Ludwigia arcuata, Lysimachia nummularia, Glossostigma elatinoides, Riccia fluitans, Echinodorus tennellus and an ever-present string of Utricularia sp. that defies eradication.
Animals 7 - Hemigrammus erythrozonus, 2 - Otocinclus affinis.
Materials Flourite substrate with six gray rocks, three covered in Riccia.
Additional Information Tank was set up 4/1/02 and re-worked in July. Eheim pressurized CO2, Seachem Flourish dosed 1ml 2x week, Seachem Fe 3ml a day, KNO3, K & PO4 dosed as needed.
