This tank is nicely laid out, I suspect that some liquid fertilization might help in this case! I also had to take points off for viability, both because of the pale plants, and because it is a constant chore to have to maintain an aquascape so heavily dependent on stem plants.


I like the arching effect of the arrangement. I could feel my eyes swooping around as I looked at it.


A very nice tank with some beautiful groupings of plants. Bring out the Alternanthera some more to catch the eye and prune back the plant hitting the glass. Otherwise, a nice tank.

8x30 watts of Osram 6100K daylight fluorescent bulbs.
1 Fluval 304 and 1 Aquamaster 250.
Additional Information
Substrate: Laterite, processed earthworm castings (using Mr. Vladimir Simoes Method), and 5cm of fine gravel over all. No liquid fertilization, only weekly water changes of 50%. DIY CO2 method, about 2 bubbles per second.

Only plants, no rocks or driftwood.
