"Excellent choice of plants, with the exception of the hairgrass. It could have been left out with no ill effect on the aquascape. The textures work well together, especially in the midground area around the Rotala stands. The sparse Glosso foreground and patchy hairgrass detract from the overall "wholeness" of the design. Also, it wouldn't hurt to remove the equipment from the aquarium prior to photographing, it detracts from the design. " ---Phil Edwards

"Vibrant healthy plants. However, the design is unbalanced with the two large clumps of red stem plants side by side. These plants could also be improved by trimming into a more graceful shape. Also, remove equipment from tank before taking photos for an aquascaping contest." ---Karen Randall

"Use of Riccia and small leaf stemmed plants are good. It could be better layout with use of stones. " ---Takashi Amano
