"Beautiful Southeast Asian themed aqarium. It's definately more of a regional example than a true biotope. The choices of flora and fauna work well together, even if not from the same countries. The dense plantings and darker tone to the aquascape certainly are reminiscent of a stream in an Asian jungle. Compositionally, this would have been better suited to the Aquatic Garden category. The effort at using only SE Asian species is obvious and should be recognized." ---Phil Edwards

"It is a nice South East Asian aquascape. The substrate should be leveled. The moss should be tied. " ---Takashi Amano

"While this is a very pretty tank, and the aquarist has been careful to use all Asian species, it is more of a "geographic theme" tank than a true biotope. I have trouble imagining these plants growing in this configuration" ---Karen Randall
