Information

"Once the cubed rocks are covered this will be a good looking aquarium. No doubt the rocks will give an interesting texture to the aquascape when the Anubias cover them, right now they look very un-natural and out of place. The plants are well chosen to represent a very broad African based aquascape. However, they come from such different sections of the continent as to be totally foreign for practical purposes. " ---Phil Edwards

"The stone arrangement is a definite distraction. It’s just too symmetrical to be natural, not to say that there isn't symmetry in nature. I think I can visualize to a degree what was intended here but the execution of the "mind's eye" layout with the reality of what lies before us doesn't match up." ---Ricky Cain

"It looks artificial. Arrangement of Anubias sp. looks monotonous. It could be better layout if the plants were arranged more artistically. " ---Takashi Amano

"While these plants and animals come from Africa, they are from vastly different areas of a large continent. The stones are squared off and un-natural looking, and the tank looks like it was put together quite recently. The tank is clean and bright, and looks well maintained, but it is a real stretch to call it a biotope." ---Karen Randall
