I like the natural impression I get from looking at this aquarium. There are too many species and some that should be planted in better places for long term success, notably the Nymphaea and Rotala macrandra. Overall this must be a very pleasing aquarium to watch and a rewarding one to keep. All the plants look robust and beautiful.

Composition of the plants are in disorder. Foreground and background should be filled with plants.

A very nice progression of pictures showing your tank maturing. Your tanks shows promise, but it was just not ready for this contest. Give it time, trim and sculpt your stem plants and wait until it is really at peak. THEN take pictures for next year's contest! My personal preference would be to lose the guppies along the way.
