"An incredible aquascape with a great sense of vast depth, and the impression that the aquarium is much larger than it actually is. The red tint of the tiny amandae tetras matches perfectly with the deep green tones of the driftwood and the white sand. Furthermore, the impressive moss covered driftwood branches that almost reach the water's surface add interest to all levels of the aquascape. One of the best aquascapes in the contest, in my opinion! " ---Carlos Sanchez

"While this tank looks like a maintenance nightmare, with the steep sand slope, I like the look of the slope, and the rocks and plants used there. I don't, however, care for the big, chunky driftwood, absolutely buried in moss. Unfortunately it gives a heavy feel to the aquascape that doesn't do it justice." ---Karen Randall
