I love the wood but feel the layout is let down a little by the solid mass of planting in the centre of the composition. It makes the whole design appear a little flat and uninteresting.

Pretty tank. I think it would be a little stronger if the Valisneria had grown in a little more densely. As in a couple of other tanks in this year's conest the surface movement is a little over-done.

The dramatic sweep of the driftwood is unfortunately lost to the shapelessness of the main body.
Without a compelling well placed focal point the viewer's eye is doomed to wonder aimlessly. Add one and this becomes a more important work.
