Awards and Judge Comments

Overall, an attractive tank. I think it is hard to use Eleocharis vivipara without it ending up looking messy, as it does here. This is another tank where the foreground planting just hasn't had time to mature and fill in.

Impressive composition with effective use of fine textures and mosses balanced nicely with the broader crypts. It's a pity the foreground plant hasn't filled in yet... Very well done!

A wonderfully wild display. What makes this aquascape work is the very satisfying balance of all its design elements. Note how the driftwood stretches to all regions of the tank. Note how the visual weight of the bright green leaves of the crypts is balanced over the fore and background.
