Your "tree trunk and roots" absolutely make this little scape. It's too bad you couldn't get the HC a little thicker and tighter in growth. And while I like the use of the Hydrocotyle the Eleocharis seems a little coarse for this tiny tank.

I'm amazed that you were able to pull off such a detailed scape in a one-gallon aquarium! I would move the main root mound to the right slightly and pull out the Hydrocotyle altogether as it's a bit too large of a leaf for this size tank.
— Kris Weinhold
I love the execution of this design the whole look of the tank is good there is a good distribution of the plants and it was very well planned excellent job!
— Luis Navarro
Nice layout and composition for the tank. The use of the smaller "roots" to complement the larger main root is well done. For the plants a pruning to shape the foreground plants would be ideal. Also offsetting the main rook to the right would create a better balance in the tank.
