Awards and Judge Comments

I really like the bottom half of this scape, and understand the thick Hemianthus "tree top," but the sticks with roots hanging down right in front are very distracting.

Interesting concept, but difficult to envision. The growth is robust, but could use with some pruning to define the sections in the tank and to provide depth. Remove the twigs hanging over the the front of the tank. They detract from the intent of the aquascape.

This tank may present better in person than it does in a photograph. As shown here, the heavy plants on top create such harsh, blocky shadows below that they really overpower the tank.
