This is certainly a wonderful home for your turtles and a pretty addition to your home. And at least you have a very good reason for not having plants in the water section! :-)

Volume 120L

Lighting 400w low energy light bulb on top floor.

Filtration Two external filters, both with intakes beneath the land part. One main filter and a pump with an outtake for the waterfall.
Plants Due to the ..."insensitive" behaviour of my musk turtles, submerged plants tend not to last very long. Instead Ive focused on land growing plants. Primarily Chlorophytum comosum, Ficus pumila, Cyperus papyrus and Eleocharis acicularis.
Animals Dwarf gourami,Elioti chiclid and alot of guppies, as snacks for my two musk turtles.
Materials Driftwood, sand, pepples and rocks
Additional Information This is a combined turtle paludarium and tortoise table that I built last year. In the bottom floor I keep two russian tortoises when the weather outside is to wet or its time for hibernation. At the top I built a paludarium, primarily to house my two musk turtles. The landpart primarily consists of cut sponge filters and clay pellets with a thin layer of soil. The sides of the land part are covered with stones and driftwood. The waterfall is just pieces of stone glued together with silicone to make it waterproof.
