Some smaller sized rocks can be used to ease the transition between large rocks and hardscape. Aquascape is a bit too sparsely planted. Sparse planting can work for competition scape - if the rest of the space was used in a meaningful way to add detail. If not then it gives the impression that the aquascape is not finished.
