Additional Information I initially conceived of the idea while out collecting native plants and Bogwood. I saw how the sand and dirt has drop offs underwater. The way rocks keep the water from washing out the sand and plants is fascinating, and I thought it would interesting to recreate in an aquarium. The concept also lended itself to viewing the tank from three angles, as it is used as a room divider.

I used UNS Controsoil and natural sand for the substrate, and I dosed dry ferts in addition to a few root tablets placed around the substrate.
