The materials used the planting and the orientation of the driftwood are clearly reminiscent of NA. In my opinion the central path doesn't fit optimally but it doesn't significantly reduce the overall impression either.
The right side is very clearly designed with branches leaning forward. Their vectors clearly refer to the vanishing point directly at the upper left focus point.
The left side is seen more in contrast. The upper part still fits to the opposite side but then runs parallel and I'm not quite sure if that was intended and why.
The overall very blue hue has its own appeal I'd still like the plants; animals and see the hardscape in their actual color.
