#291: 3.2L Riparium The Quiet Pond

Lush and clean and it is lovely to see the well developed plants in your water section. Unlike many of the entries in this category where I think your entry could be improved is with better emersed plant growth. The big dead branch is heavy looking where some plant growth in that area growing up the branch would add lightness and life.

Your tree is very compelling and is worthy of having a scape built around it. However the stone on the opposite side is also clamoring for attention. So the relationship between the two objects is more adversarial than complimentary. Also the emergent part of your Riparium is much less developed than the submersed. And in this category what is happening above the water is super important.

BUT I want to reassure you that what you made is incredibly beautiful. And I hope my feedback helps propel you to an even better Riparium entry next year!

Great to see ground cover planting in the water area and the use of rock and wood together. Wood on the right is probably too large - too dominating - and cutting off some of the branches would have balanced this out
