AGA 2023 Aquascaping Contest: #522

I really like this scape with its riot of plants and heavy use of red on the left with just a touch on the right. Well done there. The wood is perhaps a bit heavy for this size tank but mostly well positioned (the odd shaped piece on the right pulls my eye unfortunately) and beautifully nestled into the mossy "roots".

The unusual proportion of the display and the good work of proportion and appropriate choice of plants and fish gave this work an incredible feeling that it appears much larger than it actually is.
The positioning of the driftwoods could be better as well as the density of the plants but without a doubt it is an exquisite work for the proportion of this display!

It's amazing to see a small-sized tank crafted in a way that presents a larger scale. The abstract arrangement of driftwood feels beautiful. Personally the slightly imbalanced red aquatic plant on both sides feels a bit lacking but in the overall impression it doesn't seem to be a major issue. With a wider selection of available driftwood types this piece could undoubtedly be even more impressive. This showcases the excellent sense of the artist.
