Comments

Very pretty tank but could be improved with a stronger focal point and a little better balance for the striking red Alternanthera.

The Java fern, Samolous parviflorus, and Alternanthera have been in the tank since it was first set up. The Samolous parviflorus has reproduced new plants four times while it has been growing, from stems developing in the center of the crown. The java fern has also reproduced several times, and all of the visible plants currently are third generation or higher grown from larger decaying leaves.
