#5: 125L Aquatic Garden The Easy Cube

Comments

Looks like a fun little tank but the foreground was obviously very recently installed. The Limnophilla is looking a bit leggy and the E. stellatat looks to have stalled. Too much emphasis on stem plants with little structure.

Too much foreground/background definition (lush/sparse).

This tank has a great deal of potential with the addition of some different varieties of plants. The Cabomba is nice and healthy looking and will make a nice group once pruned and replanted. Unfortunately there seems to be some nutrient issues in this tank and the leaf textures are too uniform. Bring out the group of Hygrophila and add a taller grass-like plant for some contrast. Also addition of some round leaves will dramatically improve this aquascape. Nice tank.

This tank was first set up as an experiment tank to find out how some of my plants would stand a very high water flow rate (prefered by some catfishes). The extra pump was soon needed to other purposes and the tank ended up like this. (Now with normal flowrate).
