Awards and Judge Comments

While some thought and a lot of care clearly go into this tank, it's not my favorite for the exact reason that rose gardens aren't... too much of a good thing. Red plants are wonderful, but they work best as accents.


Too much alternating of color and texture.


What a challenging tank to work with. The bunches of Rotalla wallichii are incredibly healthy and colorful. I'd try to prune some of the plants and form two groups on either side of the tank. It would also be nice to see a foreground instead of having all of the plants grown right up to the front of the tank.
