I love this tank... until my eye gets pulled to the bare patch of gravel. It grabs the eye and doesn't want to let you move on. I think ti would improve the presentation tremendously if you allowed the Hemianthus to fill into this section too, and wander around your little "island".

An interesting layout with effective use of various plant textures and colours. The open areas are well done but I find the sparse planting on the rock on the sand a little distracting. Some finer textures to the right would help to balance the aquascape further. Overall, it's very well done.

A focal point nicely enhanced by the sandy empty space around it. This is another reminder of how a void, an empty or negative space can serve as a powerful design aide.
