Awards and Judge Comments

It is nice to see a Dutch-style tank in the contest! However, if you are going for a Dutch look, you should be careful to incorporate the "plant rows" that are an integral part of that type of aquascape. These diagonal lines lead the eye into and through the tank and create a better sense of depth. It's too bad that the water was cloudy when the photos were taken.

Superb Dutch-style aquascape. Very bold use of colour that suits the layout and fish selection - it's almost too colourful! I imagine this is a very high maintenance layout, but nevertheless, it's very impressive. Well done!
