OMG there is sooo much algae in this tank....what should we do? Nothing it looks so cool and I think the Innesi love it too.

This is a lovely tank (even with your use of algae!) But The Rio Solimoes is a white water river so you can't see through it. SO you wouldn't have clear water like this. There is actually NOT a lot of algae because the water is very clean and very little light penetrates the water.

Although I like the use of the hardscape material and the natural use of algae the Solimoes River does not appear this way. As is described on the web it is a silted river and is famous for meeting the Rio Negro where the two "white" and "black" rivers meet. It is unlikely that you would find this represented in the Solimoes River.
