There are some really nice details in this scape which are put in focus by the close-up pictures.

The wood arrangement as a basis (the thicker ones in the back) is a bit to much in my opinion. Less is more really says it there.

But for the fish this must be the best next thing to nature!

Nice representation of an Everglades biotope. The Flagfish are beautiful and must love this tank. Although the Fissidens have grown in nicely I have never seen them that lush in the wilds of Florida.

Additional Information South Florida has a very flat level ground, so the rivers are calm here. Mangrove and cypress trees cover the shorelines of rivers, and also here therer are freshwater plants. The soil is poor, covered with light sand. System of mangrove swamps is an important habitat for many species of fish, creating a shelter for juvenile fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
