#14: 28L Aquatic Garden Moos Matrix

Comments

I love this aquascape! The aquarist has done an excellent job utilizing the hardscape using the bow shape for the maximum effect. Overall the plants look very healthy and well tended. It's hard to keep moss in check and the aquarist has done it well. The substrate is even nice and clean. Unfortunately C. crispulata v. balansae gets rather large so points were lost on viability. Another great tank!

The use of Java moss is beautiful in this tank and the edging of white gravel is eye catching. Unfortunately this is destined to be a short-term tank. Cryptocoryne crispatula will quickly out-grow such a small tank and the roots and runners they send out will quickly take over in such a small space.

It is a good layout. Moss should be pruned more frequently so that leaf density is greater.
