If it weren't for the sand geyser I could almost imagine that I was in the river myself. Good choice of plants and use of hardscape. The use of one species of fish only adds to the feel of a small scale look into this environment.

The effort to create a Brazilian biotype in this layout is nicely done.
— Ricky Cain
The plants did not grow at all. It looks better if tall plants were placed in the left back ground.
— Takashi Amano
The white carbonate bearing sand is right for the Sucuri river and the the plants and fish are all plausible for this location. This is an attracive and well done represenation of the area. However even though I suspect the spurting sand is to simulate rising spring water I find it distracting.
