Your work with the wood is amazing and the HC lawn is beautifully grown in. I think it could be improved with a little stronger planting around the roots. But you have done a tremendous job for your first time!

Beautiful carpet of HC but I think you would have had a more convincing aquascape if your wood and rocks weren't so bare but were softened with some moss or liverworts.
