Additional Information Lake borovik located in Croatia, Eastern Slavonia near the town of Djakovo.
It is created by building damn on river Vuka in 1978. The lake has an area of 160 hectares with a depth up to 15 m and length of approximately 7000 m, average width of approximately 300 m and total water capacity of 8.5 million m3. At the site of the present lake was once a settlement Borovik after which it was named.
Borovik was one of the most attractive place for carp fishing (carps weighing up to 30 kg).
The lake is rich in fish species and families as cyprinidae, Esocidae, Siluridae, Percidae and others.
In the over 80s in the lake were entered several fish species that are not indigenous, which are acclimated, normally live and reproduce.
In my case it's carassius gibelio and pseudorasbora parva.
