#556: 438L Dutch Aquascape Not a typical dutch tank

This owner really shows he knows the Dutch Style in general. Nice contrasts in height plant structures and (a bit less) in colours.

Personally I would have liked it better with a bit more attention to the foreground as well. I feel it is a bit too empty there. The left "street" with Hydrocotyle could have worked better by shaping it a bit more (broader in the foreground).

This tank also shows some of the difficulties of the Dutch Style. It basically are two aquarium compositions in one due the open space that is almost in the middle. That has caused a deduction on the points for composition.

But in general: very nice Dutch Style!

Good job on the Dutch aquascape. With a bit more pruning for some of the groups of plants you could improve the depth of the layout quite a bit. Nice job!
