#151: 38L Aquatic Garden Enso

Comments

I think the aquarist has the right idea with this design. The left side is well done with a good choice of species to help blend the structure into the foreground. The branch on the right is overly strong for that side and puts the aquascape off balance somewhat. A nice rock would continue the slope and rounded feel created by the structure on the left.

Excellent layout execution for effect. If this were my aquarium I think I would went with a black background to produce a more mysterious and moody efect.

Very eye-catching tank and aquascaped in a way that it should be fairly easy to maintain. I wish the aquarist had smoothed the front edge of the gravel more carefully as the ragged edge draws the eye away from the aquascape in a jarring way.
— Karen Randall
The use of driftwood is good but the driftwood in the right is not good. It should be coming out more from the left side.
