#93: 54L Aquatic Garden Jungle Bridge

Pedro Borges Lisbon, Portugal

Comments

I like the general phase from green on the left to red on the right sides of the mound. The aquarist has made good choices in species of stemplants. While the Echinodorus is at just the right point in the photo it will get too large for long term use in this smaller aquarium. Also the immature appearance of the foreground and weak right rear corner give a poor impression.

A very nice mound type layout.

The layout of this attractive tank is slightly weak on the right side. However the biggest problem is the use of the 'Ozelot' sword nestled into the mid-ground. It looks very pretty right now but these are large plants that will quickly take up half of a 70 gallon tank. And the root system is so large that uprooting it from its current position when it does outgrow its welcome will spoil the entire layout.

Echinodorus is very big. The composition is vague.
