Second Place
An attractive little tank but really not a biotope tank. While guppies may have invaded Hawaii I doubt there are many delta tails swimming about in the wild. This is also not really a big enough tank to support this many guppies.

Additional Information In making this small aquascape, I decided to use only flora and fauna that could be caught in a local stream. Guppies and Cherry shrimp, are unfortunately highly invasive in Hawaii. However, instead of focusing on that dilemna or obsessing with details or accurate rendition, I tried to make a type of wabi-sabi fantasy. Colorful, warm, and taking a nod to the type of heart-warming ikebana meant to be done in the winter (when this aquascape was made).
