Animals about 50 Elassoma gilberti (gulf coast pygmy sunfish). They are only an inch long so it's hard to see them in this four foot long tank. If you look closely, you can see a female in between the leftmost and top left most ludwigia repens.

Additional Information The substrate is pure clay kitty litter on top of miracle gro organic choice potting soil. If I could change one thing about the tank I would not use the miracle gro. It bubbled as it decayed, volcano-ing up. Also it had a lot of much in it and turned the water yellow.
