Additional Information After watching Ivan Mikolji lectures and seen his wonderful film "Freshwater Natural Aquarium" Documentary it became obvious to me that I was forced to try to create a biotope aquascape from this part of the world.
During the construction of the aquarium, I have also been using Oliver Lucanus book "The Amazon below water" which also has given me inspiration for creating this tank.
I have tried to create a small river system in the Orinoco Delta. That should illustrate the habitat close to the riverbank with a lot of shade because of the large trees hanging over the Water.
