The regular arrangment and bare cut ends of the wood work seem contrived even though the planting of the scape is well done and I like how clean the overall setup is. All the details in the aquascape literally fit on the left and right islands - the only natural scene that gives this impression of stark contrast is the beach; where the waterline cuts off is so abrupt.
