We saw some really exceptional biotope tanks this year with careful attention to detail and the ability to draw us right into the scene. That said while nano tanks are fun I do not think they are appropriate for biotope tanks. Already by definition a biotope tank is a "nano" version of the real thing. Don't try to miniaturize it even more please!
