#390: 72L Dutch Aquascape Kebon

Flea Andrias Bandung, Indonesia

Comments

Hygrophila Pinatifida is mentioned but not listed.
Nesaea golden is a little poor.
No intention to create depth the Cyperus helferi could be placed more in the front to create depth.
Healthy looking aquarium with beautiful plants.
The Christmas moss wall is very nice.
I find the inhabitants of this aquarium very suitable.
Technology well hidden and out of sight.

I must commend anyone who comes to this party with a moss wall. You get a few points for that. The tank feels packed. Foreground is overgrown - the Loeblia needs a serious haircut and the Ammannia is stunted. Growing Ammannia without tip stunting is not easy for many people. If you struggle with any species just remove it from the scape. Stay with easy plants because you don't get more points for working with difficult ones. In other words - reduce biomass select easier plants and hone trimming skills. Oh - and you have about twice as many species in there as that tank that size can handle.

Nice attempt but I am missing a bit more contrast in colours and the left part also lacks a bit of contrast in leaf shapes. Making the plant groups just a bit smaller might already help to improve the overall impression.
