Lovely discus aquarium. The components of the biotope are a good general representation of the broad habitats discus are found in. However the impression is less than natural. Try removing the rocks and hardware and see what you come up with. Small screws and suction cups are good for holding wood where you want it to be.

The plants you have used are struggling with good reason. they are not adapted to living in these conditions in nature or in the aquarium.

Beautiful discus. The plants are not truly representative of where discus are found in the wild and the tank definitely does not have a "biotope" feel.
