Nicely done in general; but would love to see some smaller rocks added to make a more natural transition between rocks and sand.

Nice little biotope tank. The biotope is for the most part accurate but the rounded rocks are unlikely found in this type of habitat.

Materials Substrate ADA Forest Sand ORINOCO sifted to smallest fraction. Mangrove wood and branches of willow Salix x erythoflexuosa, siliceous rocks. Leaves of palm, beech, Terminalia catappa, alder cones
Additional Information The aquarium should show an ox-bow meander of the river Rio Parnaíba with sand substrate, driftwood, the fallen branches and leaves from trees that create the typical natural environment for Geophagus parnaibae.

Note : Characidae Brachychalcinus parnaibae are unavaiable so they were replaced with Brachychalcinus orbicularis.
