#851: 97L Dutch Aquascape The Garden of Colors

Stunning colors and health! So clean and crisp! Masterful horticulture. Try to avoid using one species (in this case Eriocaulon) in 2 or more places. Placing red stems next to other red stems reduces the feeling of contrast. No large leaf plants. Not enough rosettes dark mosses and tall grasses. Feels more like a bright cheery Asian style aquarium than a Dutch style tank. The close up shots reveal how truly healthy the plants are. As with most entries in the Dutch category this year this tank scored very high on initial impression (wow factor) but quickly fell behind as score for composition was tallied because true Dutch tanks are all about rules of composition.

Very nice looking plants but it is a shame that the foreground appears to be a bit neglected. Please also watch out for the balance between green/red plants.
