This idea is not absolutely new but in this case was very well done. Almost everything is good except the fact that the hardscape is too big for this tank size. There was a proportions mistake. Perhaps the same layout in a bigger tank would be amazing.
Even trying to use small Pterophyllum scalare the proportions weren't good.
The foreground needs to be better worked. The impression is that the small rocks (actually not so small) were randomly placed anywhere.
Try to feel the layout as a whole thing. In this way the proportions mistakes will be more easily perceived.
