Aquascaping in a small tank is always hard "to scale" hardscape plant selection are limited and hard to find in addition maintenance is also a hard job. I always admire the one who had a good design and good condition tiny aquascaping tank after all I have seen some in this category this year.

For me the most challenging category of the contest. Creating a biosystem in very small spaces by itself is a big challenge. Creating an aquascape also requires talent and study. Uniting the two virtues is for few people. In this year's edition I noticed really small aquariums many less than 10 liters in volume. This denotes boldness but at the same time it particularly worries me. Let us never forget that we are lovers of Nature and as such we have an obligation to look after the integrity of the animals and plants with which we interact. Congratulations to all participants in this category you are warriors and very talented. My sincere admiration.

It really has been the hardest category to judge. I am impressed by the ability of the aquascapers to show layouts that appear to be huge in such a small aquarium.
Congratulations to all.
But on the other hand it worries me to see aquariums with less than 10-12 liters of volume although they are precious they should not be habitat for any fish or aquatic species.
