#148: 144L Aquatic Garden Calm after Storm

Comments

Your hardscape is very strong and I like that you have chosen to work with a limited palette of plants that work well together. H. tripartita is a lovely aggressive grower as we know. But here you have trimmed it in TOO tightly in a scape that wants to be soft and natural. It needed to be cut down even a little harder and then been allowed to grow up into a little more natural shape allowing its beauty as a plant show rather than looking like a heavily trimmed hedge. The Micranthemum is also a bit too tightly trimmed but it grows more tightly on its own so doesn't look so completely unnatural as the tripartita. Otherwise this is lovely!
