I am so pleased to see how this category is improving. This year’s entries are really lovely. Only a few have needed to be removed and only couple for terrestrial plants! I know that the rules for showing your Wabi Kusa balls will be stricter next year but I don’t think that many of the entries this year would have had any problem complying! Well done everyone!

I feel incredibly fortunate to participate in the judging of this category. I'd like to thank the AGA for providing a platform for passionate hobbyists to showcase their Wabi-Kusa in a competitive manner. As many know next year's contest will become more stringent: focusing on the key elements that make a Wabi-Kusa different from other types of nano displays. It was great to see so many beautiful Wabi-Kusa in this year's contest which clearly expressed an intention and understanding of Wabi-Kusa both physically as an art form and also conceptually. Congratulations to all of the participants!
