#496: 32L Wabi-Kusa By the Canal

Comments

I like the creativity to use two areas of the tank. However I would have changed the leaf sizes so it flows better from the left (higher) to the right (lower). Could also have reflected that slope in the submerged section too.

Healthy emergent growth. Impressive height of Hygrophila and Alternanthera species. The variation in planting of species provides a naturalistic interwoven assemblage of growth.

This layout could only be improved with the visual gesture of aquatic plants transitioning into their emersed forms by planting taller more dominate emergent plants submerged in the foreground.

Well done.

I love the use of your Wabi Kusa balls to design a larger layout that could almost be seen as an aquatic garden. The use of various types of plants with different emphasis on colors is well done and incorporating the Wabi Kusas into the hardscape was seemless. Great job!
