It seems that there has recently been a new trend to show broken trees in forests.
I find the idea very interesting. With it you can transport feelings tell stories of becoming and passing away and direct the viewer's gaze.
As far as the latter is concerned I'm a little surprised why the lying tree trunk doesn't point to the vanishing point. The path that runs in the background seems to have no beginning in the foreground and the tree trunk seemingly lies in the middle of the path. These may all have been conscious choices but I'm afraid I don't fully understand them.
I would therefore like to conclude with the very positive aspect that I really liked the design and it is my personal top 2 in the 80 - 162 liter category. My congratulations!

For my taste the best work in the category. Very nice recreation of a flooded forest. Congrats. We have seen many fallen trunk works but this one has a very special touch.

I love your foreground your grassy meadow and the fallen log behind it. Then... it looks like you didn't know quite how to finish off the background. It looks like you were going for a forest effect back there but it isn't a dense enough "forest" for the effect to be successful. I think the broad horizontal strip of "bright" is the problem. Maybe MORE wood and foliage there? Keeping just a few bits of light peaking through and your one main break at the end of the path? Good use of your reflections on the sides though!

This is a very well done scape. Tidiness and chaos are well balanced and allocated in the right aspects. Great display of professionalism and skill in this layout for sure.
